Roadworks NZ Ltd was established in 2009 with operations in Christchurch (head office), Queenstown & Wanaka.

We also have operations within a major traffic management company NZ Traffic Management Ltd.

The Managing is Colin Sloss. The Christchurch Divisional Manager is Steve Bruerton (NZCE). The Central Otago Divisional Manager is Rob Marchioni. Dave Duff is in charge of operations for the Traffic Management division. Kate Sloss is the Accounts Manager & is responsible for administration & manages the workplace Health & Safety Policies.

Colin and Kate Sloss previously owned Local Construction Ltd, one of the largest privately owned contracting firms in Canterbury. Local Construction was the winner of 12 ‘Contractor of the Year’ awards including one New Zealand award and the Canterbury supreme award in 2003. Colin & Kate successfully owned and operated Local Construction until the company sold to City Care in October 2004, at this time there was a team of 95 staff.
